Reconnecting History: Help Build the Indigenous Peoples Village

Our Mission

We are building the Indigenous Peoples Village at Codrington College in Barbados, the first immersive cultural center of its kind in the Caribbean.

Centuries ago, the Arawak tribe lived in harmony with the land, passing down traditional craftsmanship, sustainable living practices, and deep cultural heritage. Today, we are bringing that history back to life.

The Indigenous Peoples Village is a living museum, educational hub, and community center designed to honor the legacy of the Arawaks while empowering modern local communities through skill-building, traditional craft, and inclusive workshops.

  • This project is about more than preserving the past; it is about building an inclusive future for the local community

Cultural Preservation: Experience a hands-on journey back to a long-forgotten era. Visitors and students will learn the history of the Arawak tribe, their creative methodologies, and traditional techniques using local raw materials.

Empowering the Disabled Community: We are constructing accessible facilities to offer free and specialized workshops in leather-craft and traditional arts, equipping individuals with disability with meaningful, income-generating skills.

Educational Outreach: Offering interactive workshops, guided historical tours along the East Coast of Barbados, and immersive programs for primary school students and adults alike.
